He's 11, and for the p...I have a curly boy too! He's 11, and for the past few years had been wearing it long-ish. When he was tiny my mom usually took him to get his hair cut (short- we never even realized he was curly!) b/c I'm lazy lol and was busy w/my younger child. One Sept mom was down visiting and he told her: I'm growing my hair, no haircut this time. I was more than fine with that.<br /><br />A few months ago I felt he could use a trim, so he could see, but he wasn't interested in even a tiny haircut. So, fine. He was mistaken for a girl a few times, but when he got a trim it was because he wanted to. We are in FL and he was getting too hot. <br /><br />I wore my hair *very* short from 7th or 8th grade on. Before I cut it, it was mid-back. I remember being out w/my dad, and as he spoke with an acquaintance the man said something about 'your son'- I was mortified. I mean, I had breasts already. <br /><br />I haven't read any chatter about it, but I wonder if Emma Watson is getting flack for cutting her hair short. She looks gorgeous.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
